The scene was set.

In about 20 minutes - Aditi was about to arrive with her father Sim, sister Anula, and fur-baby Monk to “Hollywood Escape Rooms”. She had been in contact with the business owners, who described themselves as entrepreneurs in the escape room business, and they wanted her and her family come try out one of their new “White Collar” themed rooms. A free escape room experience themed after her and Abhi’s favorite show? It was a no brainer.

The Proposal

 

The final clue led here… a dropped pin in the Presidio of San Francisco. But before she arrived, she was whisked away to a pre-booked hair appointment. With a beautiful blowout, she returned, seemingly ready to leave - only to see a grand emerald green gown awaiting her.

The car dropped her at the trailhead of Lover’s Lane - one of the first dates she and Abhi had been on. Next to a 1,200-ft. winding line of recycled eucalyptus trunks in the forest - the trail symbolized not only the beginning of the path they would begin on together, but the beautiful journey that lie for them ahead.

The Nichayathartham

The Tamil word 'nichayam' (நிச்சயம்) and Telugu word ‘nischam’ (నిశ్చయం) translate to 'certainty' or 'assurance' in English.

The Nichayathartham ( ‘Nischitartham’, in Telugu) is a South Indian pre-wedding ceremony where families formally agree and finalize on marriage. The ceremony includes rituals, exchanges of gifts between families, blessings from elders, and the reading of an agreement letter (Lagna Patrika) where details of the wedding are formally announced.
